Intimate & Romantic Sunken Gardens Wedding - Brittanie and Micheal

Brittanie and Michael's intimate Sunken Gardens wedding ceremony with their families on the north lawn bonded them forever! Nothing but love in the palm trees when this couple finally becomes one after a long and patient engagement.

Brittanie and Micheal met nine years before their wedding on match.com! Another online match made in heaven for the books! They have been through life's highs and lows together, keeping each other strong and grounded. After a five year engagement they became husband and wife with their beautiful daughter by their side.

They got ready in separate locations in downtown St. Pete and headed to St. Petersburg for their Sunken Gardens wedding ceremony. They had a small ceremony on the north lawn. A spot that is debatably my favorite background in Sunken gardens. The towering greenery feels enormous and vast, allowing for some captivating photos.

Their colors were very complimentary of the surrounding walls of tropical plants. The pinks, whites, and greens were subtle and soft against the towering trees that flourish in Sunken Gardens making their ceremony bright and romantic. All of their closest family was in attendance including Brittanie's parents, cousin and sister and Michael's mom, cousin and his two kids, Wolfgang and Amara. It's so awesome that they are creating a blended, LOVING family together.

You guys, not only is Brittanie stunning, but she's so much fun to photograph! Brittanie’s portraits contrast with her white dress and light pink bouquet and the dark greenery surrounding her. We had a lot of fun with her cathedral veil with flowers laced at the bottom by Isabel O'Neil. We also used the veil during family photos for Brittanie and her daughter. We put the veil over both of them for some mommy daughter time, creating such a sweet and delicate moment! Michael was beaming during his portraits while looking at Brittanie.

We continued their Sunken Gardens wedding with couple's portraits walking through the gardens. This was another opportunity to use the veil and show off the detail in the lace. We had so much fun it, it even flew out! Brittanie and Micheal ended in the tropical plants at Sunken Gardens, with the sun back lighting them in an almost angelic way. I wish these two the best in their future and hope to get to work with them again maybe on some family photos!

Thank you to the following for making their day happen:

Rick Lacklore with Sensational Ceremonies(Officiant), Schatzi Borgella - Schatzic (Hair Stylist), Nicki Mac - Nicki Mac Brides (Makeup), Erica Sunset Strings - Sunset Strings (live music), Isabel O'Neil Tampa (Bride’s dress)

What I remember most:

Brittanie and Micheals adorable daughter Juliet who was a blast to photograph, the shared love and unity between them and their families, how perfectly the sun shined through the trees giving life, warmth, and colorful lens flares!  When Brittanie's veil flew right out of her hair and created the coolest couple portrait!
