If you haven’t seen it, please go back and check out Adrienne and Mike’s Ft. Desoto engagement session, such a blast! The same mood was true for their wedding, laid back and fun-loving with lots of romantic touches. They chose to have a Sunken Gardens wedding due to its tropical beauty. We started the day with getting ready in downtown St. Pete at the Courtyard Marriott. It rained a bit in the morning, but cleared up quickly for some gorgeous weather the rest of the day. Adrienne had a STUNNING boho style Pronovias gown that went well with the succulents in her bouquet. On the opposite spectrum we goofed around with Mike and some beer from Cigar City Brewing.
They had a first look at Sunken Gardens then some family and wedding party photos. Hilarious side story: during the groomsmen photos a wasp or a bee flew into my jumpsuit and when I investigated it started stinging me, BUT I braved it and continued until the groomsmen shots were done, then RAN like crazy to the bathroom to see what was going on. Luckily I am not allergic so all was well. The ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt, with a tree planting ceremony. I had a great time doing portraits with Adrienne and Mike after the ceremony, they were definitely on a “I just got married” high and the portraits turned out gorgeous. They continued the party upstairs in the Garden Room with a very relaxed reception.
