Intimate and Touching Davis Islands Wedding in Tampa - Ren & Jai

Ren and Jai have an intimate Tampa wedding in a hidden spot on Davis Islands. They became wife and wife in front of all their closest family and friends!

Ren and Jai met through mutual friends. Both Ren and Jai said the thing that attracted them to each other was their sense of humor. Laughter was the foundation of their ever growing chemistry and connection. There was no shortage of laughter and good times at their loving wedding. This was a perfect start to a lifetime of joking around and endless smiles. The couples that laugh together stay together!

Ren and Jai’s Davis Islands wedding in Tampa included only their nearest and dearest. They had a simple and sweet waterfront ceremony at the park with a spectacular view of Hillsborough bay and the Port of Tampa. An eclectic view combining beauty and industry. You don’t always need a huge venue that provides chairs and an arch to say have a ceremony. Ren and Jai had everything they wanted and needed to become wife and wife. Ren’s flowing a-line v-neck wedding dress from Forever Bridal stole the show. Her laurel wreath headpiece with red accent flowers completed the look allowing me to capture her artistic spirit. Jai wore stylish deep blue pants and a floral tie that complimented Ren flawlessly. Her infectious smile projected her love for the day and her future wife, radiating to everyone in attendance.

They had their party at Oggi Italian restaurant because who doesn't like Italian food?! It's one of their favorite restaurants. They had decorated with poems by Atticus Poetry and Oggi had an Italian cannoli feeding set up for them instead of cake, how cute! Before sunset we went to the Seaplane Basin Park for their couples photos, you can tell they were blissfully Mrs. and Mrs! We had a magically hilarious sparkler exit at the end of the night and I am now so happy to call them both friends.

Thank you to the following for making their day happen:

Theresa Woods (Officiant), Oggi’s Italian (Caterer/Cake/Desert), Tyra Davis - Good Hair Vibes (Hair), Forever Bridal (Bride’s dress)

What I Remember Most
Their hidden ceremony location, Ren’s elegant and whimsical dress from Forever Bridal and wreath headpiece, the quaint quilt made by Ren’s grandma they sat on for portraits, the delicious food at Oggi Italian restaurant, the carved pineapple dessert platter, and when Ren and Jai fed each other cannoli’s.
