There is something about a home that already feels like it was made for a family. Amanda and Michael's South Tampa home is exactly that. It’s very chic and decorated perfectly, but also warm, inviting, with some vintage tones.
At 33 weeks, Amanda was absolutely glowing. We moved through their space room by room, letting the personality of their home do the talking. The vinyl room was right up my alley! Records lots of light, the kind of cozy corner that tells you exactly who these people are. Amanda wore a lemon print dress to bring more warmth to the aesthetic and Michael matched with some neutrals.
From there we moved through the bedroom, soft and intimate, then out to the sauna — because why not? And then the pool. Because this is Florida, baby is almost here, and if you have a gorgeous backyard in South Tampa you better use it. The outdoor shots have that “I took this on a disposable camera” vibe, grainy, warm, unmistakably Florida feeling that I will never get tired of seeing.
This is one of those sessions where the home itself is a character in the story. Every room, every detail, every corner of the space they've built together — it all shows up in these photos. And when their little one is old enough to ask what life was like before they arrived, the answer is going to be: really, really good.
