Tropical Moroccan Sunken Gardens Wedding – Meryl and Nick

Meryl and Nick, herein referred to by his nickname “Stoney,” have a tropical, Moroccan themed Sunken Gardens wedding in St. Pete with getting ready photos at Postcard Inn on St. Pete Beach.

It did not take long for Meryl, Stoney and I to become friends. These two goofballs along with their pup Jack stole my heart the minute we met. Stoney’s IG account @stoneysonfire had me captivated. Now he’s good friends with my husband Mohamed and the frequently create raps together. Their wedding DID NOT disappoint. They chose to have a Sunken Gardens wedding because of its tropical atmosphere and Postcard Inn was the perfect colorful setting for their getting ready and first look photos. We then headed to Sunken Gardens for Meryl’s first look with her dad, family and wedding party photos.

The ceremony and their vows were hilarious, I could not stop laughing. They had one of the most badass choreographed first dances I’ve ever seen complete with Meryl’s tap dancing and Stoney’s Heely’s and AMAZING worm! OH AND Robert Goulet and Dale Earnhardt Jr. made a guest appearance as well! Everything at the wedding was sourced by Meryl and she even let me borrow her glassware for my own wedding celebration. Meryl and Stoney will always have a special place in my heart and I hope our friendship continues to blossom.

Thanks to the following people for making it all happen:

Angela Reno hair and makeup, Meg Huntley for coordinating, Travis Rieth videographer, Publix for the florals, Grant Hemond for entertainment, David Dillingham string quartet, Meryl’s dad Joe Stout for officiating, Alfred Angelo for Meryl’s dress and Meryl of course for literally everything else. Now enjoy their photos below!
